Private Ek Balam Tour from Mérida
Discover one of Yucatán’s most fascinating Maya cities on a private journey shaped around you, surrounded by history, nature, and remarkable architecture.
Experience Ek Balam Your Way
A private journey to Ek Balam gives you the freedom to discover one of Yucatán’s most fascinating Maya cities at your own pace.
Formal archaeological excavations began here only in 1994, revealing extraordinary structures and details that had remained hidden for centuries. Explore the site with a federally licensed local guide, climb the impressive Acropolis, and discover a Maya city that still feels remarkably intimate compared with Yucatán’s better-known archaeological sites.
And the journey doesn’t have to end at Ek Balam. Depending on your interests, your day can include a cenote, a local meal, Valladolid, or meaningful stops along the way.
